Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
Airmech is committed to ensuring this website is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to find the information they need, contact us, and use our online tools without barriers.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility.
Measures we have taken to support accessibility include:
- Semantic HTML: Pages are built with proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and meaningful document structure
- Alternative text: All images include descriptive alt text
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are accessible via keyboard. A skip-to-content link is provided on every page
- Colour contrast: Text and background colour combinations meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
- Responsive design: The website adapts to different screen sizes and works with screen magnification
- Form labels: All form fields have associated labels for screen reader compatibility
- Focus indicators: Visible focus styles are provided for keyboard users
- No auto-playing media: No content plays automatically

Technical Specifications
This website is built with:
- Astro: A static site generator that produces lightweight, semantic HTML
- No JavaScript dependency: Core content and navigation work without JavaScript enabled
- Modern browsers: The site is tested in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
- Screen readers: The site is designed to work with assistive technologies including VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, there may be areas where we fall short:
- Some older PDF documents (such as product datasheets from manufacturers) may not be fully accessible. Where possible, we provide the same information in HTML format
- Interactive tools (such as the compressor configurator) may have limited accessibility for some assistive technologies. We are working to improve these
If you need information in an alternative format, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
