Compressed Air Services Across Scotland
Airmech supports compressed air systems across Scotland as part of our national contract coverage. From the Central Belt and Fife to Ayrshire and the Borders, Scottish sites get the same planned servicing, compliance management and reporting as the rest of our UK customer base.
About Our Coverage in This Region
Scotland's manufacturing, distribution and food and drink sectors run significant compressed air estates, and multi-site operators often struggle to get consistent service standards north and south of the border. Airmech solves that with one national contract: the same service scope, the same digital job sheets, and the same compliance reporting for a site in Kilmarnock as for one in Coventry.
We cover Scottish sites on planned route visits scheduled alongside our national contract work, concentrating on the Central Belt, Fife, Ayrshire and the Borders. For multi-site operators, Scottish locations join the same asset register, PSSR calendar and quarterly reporting as every other site in the estate.

How does compressor servicing work for Scottish sites?
Scottish sites are serviced on planned route visits, scheduled in advance alongside our national contract work in the region. Each visit covers the full PPM scope: oil and filter changes, separator elements, belt and cooler checks, condensate management and a full operational test, with a digital service report sent within 48 hours.
What about emergency breakdowns in Scotland?
Breakdown cover for Scottish sites is agreed as part of the contract SLA. For national contract customers we coordinate the response, dispatching our own engineers on route or arranging vetted local support where speed matters most, with the fault, fix and follow-up all logged in your central service history either way.
Can I add Scottish sites to an existing Airmech contract?
Yes, and this is the most common way our Scottish coverage starts. If you have an Airmech contract for sites in England or Wales, adding Scottish locations extends the same SLAs, reporting and compliance management north of the border with no separate contract.
Does PSSR apply to pressure systems in Scotland?
Yes. The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 apply across Great Britain, so Scottish sites need a Written Scheme of Examination and regular thorough examinations by a competent person exactly as English sites do. We manage the process and keep every site on one PSSR calendar. We advise sensibly, we do not provide legal advice.
Need Compressed Air Support in Scotland?
One call. We discuss your Scottish sites, agree the scope, and give you a fixed price. One contract, one standard, one report across the whole estate.
